Maintenance
For AU01, AU02 and Mirror, always use a clean, soft, fine-grain microfiber cloth to minimize the risk of scratching the surface. Clean with Surface Cleaner or a suitable alcohol-based cleaning product, and do not allow liquids or cleaning products to dry on the film, as this may leave visible stains or marks. Wipe gently and dry the surface immediately with a clean microfiber cloth.
Installation guidance
- Apply only to a perfectly clean and properly prepared substrate, in a clean installation environment. - When wrapping edges / arris, heat the film and maintain a consistent temperature during the folding process to improve flexibility and reduce the risk of air channels along the edges. - For AU01 and AU02, use a soft felt squeegee to minimize the risk of scratching. - If the film needs to be lifted during installation to remove dust or wrinkles, handle it carefully, as excessive manipulation may leave irreversible marks. - Mirror film: due to its specific construction, apply only on flat surfaces and do not bend, fold, or wrap the material over edges or corners. - When trimming an overlap directly over the film, protect the area beforehand with masking tape to reduce the risk of surface delamination.
