Maintenance
For Cork or Raffia references, minimal cleaning and care are required due to their natural resistance to dust and dirt. Use a brush with gentle bristles to clean. In case of wet or damp stains, use an absorbent cloth to wipe away the moisture and promptly and thoroughly dry the affected area.
Installation guidance
- Minor gaps or irregularities in the natural cork surface are inherent characteristics of the product and are not considered defects. - Apply only to flat, planar surfaces. Do not stretch or thermoform the material. - Avoid rolling the material too tightly, as excessive pressure may damage or crack the cork layer. - Pre-cutting is recommended due to the rigidity and thickness of the material. - In overlap areas, apply primer and consider sealing exposed joints or edges. - Apply using a hard or soft roller. Avoid tools that may scratch or abrade the cork surface. - In case of stains, dab the surface immediately. Due to its natural cork composition, the surface cannot be cleaned in the same way as standard films.
